Child Protection Case Study

Child Protection Case Study

Child Protection Case StudyThe Bantwana Initiative conducted this case study in 2011 to learn how to improve the effectiveness, quality, and reach of child protection efforts implemented by community based organizations (CBOs) and the Western Uganda Bantwana Program (WUBP). The objectives of the case study were to 1) identify existing child protection activities implemented by WUBP’s nine CBO partners; 2) assess the impact of community child rights and protection programs; 3) establish the effectiveness of the child protection program; and 4) identify gaps in the CBO service delivery mechanism in each district. The study reports on the key areas in which WUBP activities have strengthened efforts to protect child rights as well as its ongoing challenges. Download a copy of the executive summary »
