Capacity Development of Local Organizations in Uganda

In line with USAID’s Journey to Self-Reliance, the Bantwana Initiative’s holistic capacity building approach strengthens organizational, financial, technical and M&E systems of local partners, moving them along a capacity development continuum aimed to improve performance and meet global accountability standards. This brief lays out WEI/Bantwana’s capacity development approach and achievements with five local partners under the USAID/Better Outcomes for Vulnerable Children and Youth in Eastern and Northern Uganda program, one of which is currently undergoing NUPAs assessment to become a direct recipient of USG funding.
