Strengthening the Clinic-Community Referral Network to Improve Treatment and Child Protection Outcomes for Children Living with HIV and Other Vulnerabilities

Strong clinic-to-community referral networks are central for increasing access to health and social protection services needed by children and adolescents living with HIV and other vulnerabilities to stay healthy and thrive.  Under the USAID/PEPFAR-funded Better Outcomes project, WEI/Bantwana, with clinical partners, local leaders, and community organizations and  structures, built robust, functioning clinic-to-community referral networks at scale. This brief highlights the key strategies, results, and innovations that improved treatment and child protection results for children.
