Youth Programming – Uganda

Uganda is home to one of the youngest populations in the world. Uganda’s youth are its greatest asset, yet youth need agency and opportunity to meaningfully engage in their communities and successfully transition to adulthood. This brief lays out WEI/Bantwana’s approach to youth-centered development through delivery of an integrated package of social asset building and HIV/GBV prevention, life skills and livelihood supports enabling them to make healthy decisions and become change agents for child protection with peers, families and communities.
