Farai Charasika

A development specialist with over 12 years’ experience in public health, private and non-profit sector management consulting and implementation, Dr. Charasika is a public health physician with project leadership and management experience. Highly entrepreneurial, innovative and strategic, he has demonstrated success working in public health, development, public and private sector and management consulting. His wide-ranging expertise ranges from nonprofit organization and capacity strengthening to large-scale program management. Dr. Charasika brings technical expertise in adult and pediatric HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, disease surveillance & response, as well as development programming for OVC, formal & informal education, early childhood development, economic strengthening and employability, and social welfare and protection. He holds a medical degree from the University of Zimbabwe and has pursued doctoral level education at the Boston University School of Public Health and The Heller School at Brandeis University.
